SAIM Group to raise VEEM's profile in Europe

Superyacht stabilisation specialist, VEEM Ltd has appointed the SAIM Group as its principal distributor and agent for Europe. SAIM will be tasked with raising VEEM’s profile in European territories and increasing sales of its gyro-stablisation products.
Commenting on the agreement Paul Steinmann, product manager for VEEM Gyro said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with one of the marine industry’s most respected players and to add SAIM to the expanding roster of global sales agents. Those working specifically with our range of gyros now also includes CJR Propulsion in the UK and Ship Motion Group in the Netherlands.”
SAIM Group’s Marco Dona praised the quality of the VEEM offering and said it complemented SAIM’s range of products. “By leveraging the respective strengths of both organisations, VEEM and SAIM Group are able to boast a tremendous offering”, Dona explained. “VEEM Gyros are a genuine step change in performance and VEEM’s investment in the latest design and production technology means it is an exciting organisation to work with. It was this proposition which first attracted us to work with VEEM – to expand both companies’ global reach and position its gyros as the only choice for superyacht and small ship stabilisation.”
SAIM’s distribution network is estimated to total around 3,000 customers dispersed across is bases at Buccinasco, Fiumicino, Viareggio, Bologna and Mandlieu. Stephen Vincent, VEEM’s global sales manager, added: “With the arrival of SAIM, we continue to be able to work with the very best in the business. SAIM’s experience in providing quality equipment to the marine industry is a terrific asset and we are delighted they will now be able to offer VEEM Gyros to all their existing clients.”
