Pacific Coast Marine opts to consolidate manufacturing

AdvanTec Global Innovations has announced it will incorporate its Pacific Coast Marine (PCM) manufacturing operations into other AdvanTec manufacturing facilities. The move will take effect from 31 July 2014 but sales and service will continue to operate out of the Greater Seattle area.

"This move will expand PCM’s product capabilities," said AdvanTec CEO, Paul Hill. "Consolidating manufacturing will allow us to demonstrate improved efficiencies and will provide greater opportunity for innovation," he said.

The PCM sales and service office will be managed by AdvanTec's executive vice president of sales and marketing, Darren Loken.  "This evolution will help make our entire marine group more efficient," he said. "We'll be sharing our vast resources across the organisation as never before, and the dedicated PCM sales and service team the industry has relied on for years will continue to meet our customers' needs."

"Change comes to all good organisations with an eye to the future," Hill added. "It is always a difficult decision to consolidate operations, but as a global organisation working to provide efficiencies and innovation to our customers around the world, these are the necessary steps.”
