Mourjan Marinas to manage Four Seasons marina in Qatar

Mourjan Marinas IGY, manager of luxury marinas and yachting lifestyle destinations, has added a second marina to its portfolio in Qatar, the Four Seasons Hotel Doha marina.
The Dubai-based marina developer and operator has signed a marina management agreement with the luxury hotel which will see it fully manage the ‘stunning’ 112 berth floating marina located on the shores of Doha’s West Bay.
The Four Seasons Hotel marina has three berths for superyachts up to 35 metres and will be part of the new Nobu restaurant development, which anchors the northern end of the city’s Corniche.

Wayne Shepherd, Regional Operations Manager Middle East, Mourjan Marinas IGY, has permanently relocated to Qatar in order to focus on the Qatar marina operations.

“I am very excited about the partnership with the Four Seasons and I look forward to working closely with them,” said Mr. Shepherd. “There is no denying the importance of the Qatar market and the developments this country is seeing and I am very pleased to be playing a part of that process.”
The announcement follows Mourjan Marinas IGY’s agreement to manage the design, construction and operation of all marinas in Doha’s Lusail City revealed last year. Lusail marina celebrated its first yacht arriving in May 2011.
“We have continued to broaden our reach locally and internationally this year and we are seeing some great results and strong partnerships in key markets,” said Horrigan.
“Our latest agreement in Qatar is very pleasing as it adds to our portfolio in the country which is fast becoming one of the focus destinations for yacht-goers in the region.”
The Four Seasons marina, which is only 15 minutes from Doha Airport, offers yachts easy access to the Doha Corniche and members have access to the Hotel facilities. The marina also offers a boat ramp, round the clock security, Dockmaster assistance and seven-day per week fuel service for both diesel and petrol.
