Rigging and non-destructive testing specialists Marine Results has announced the appointment of Jim Vintner as its in-house surveyor.
 
The company, which specialises in providing rig work and inspection consultancy to the superyacht and racing yacht sector has seen a steady growth in business in its survey and inspection division. And Vintner brings to the company many years of yacht repair management experience. He was previously operations manager at Osmotech for 11 years, building a comprehensive understanding of boat construction methods and repair assessment and analysis. 
 
At Marine Results he will join the international team of riggers and inspectors, focusing on insurance surveys and boat damage assessment.  He will operate primarily in the UK but will attend inspections in the Mediterranean, the US and the Caribbean. Vintner is currently awaiting membership of YBDSA (Yacht Brokers, Designers and Surveyors Association).
