International Shipyards Ancona (ISA) and JLT Yacht Agency have today announced a partnership agreement.
The new agreement will see JLT provide marine and concierge services, as well as special promotions, to ISA clients berthing in Ank's Marina, which is directly managed by ISA's after sales and refit division. The new marina, opened in 2010 and boasting 10 berths for yachts up to 90 metres, is available for refit and maintenance projects.
"We believe that JLT's knowledge and experience in providing effective and efficient service to the yachting community will be greatly appreciated by our customers. With the help of JLT Yacht Agency we will be able to deliver the same high quality service and assistance offered by the best marinas of the world," says Alfonso Postorino, Ank's marina manager.
The second half of the marina development will be open by the beginning of the 2011 season, and is billed as an excellent base for charters to Croatia, as well as a good place for a full range of services, including haul out up to 400 tonnes. JLT Yacht Agency covers the Italian Adriatic, with headquarters in Venice and offices in Trieste, Ancona, Pescara/Ortona and Brindisi, all dedicated to the superyacht industry.

The brand new Ank's Marina is placed in an ideal strategic position for vessels moving throughout the Adriatic in the summer. The promotions clients will be eligible for are yet to be confirmed but Oliviero says they will include discounts on berthing fees. The agency is able to help Ank's Marina clients with bunkering, provisioning, berth reservations, yacht clearance, tour and restaurant bookings, as well as a host of other services.
