ISA to build new Filante 42 unveiled at MYS

Camper & Nicholsons Yachts, the iconic English yard founded in 1782 and now part of Leonardo Ferragamo’s Nautor Holding, has announced the signing of an agreement with ISA YACHTS for the production of its new Filante 42 superyacht. The 42m concept, designed by Camper & Nicholsons Yachts' in-house team, received its world premiere at this year's Monaco Yacht Show.

The Filante 42 is the flagship of a what the yard says is a new range of cutting-edge, genuinely offshore displacement motoryachts. Developed to be a “compact superyacht” all the guest and crew areas have been designed to guarantee maximum comfort even in long-distance navigation. Because of its compact dimensions, excellent manoeuvrability and reliable electronic hull and machinery control systems, the Filante 42 will also allow its passengers to effortlessly reach even the most remote corners of the world. To ensure that owners’ needs are met, particularly in terms of potential charter use, the Filante 42 will also come with two large tenders as standard in addition to a rescue craft and a personal watercraft.
The Filante 42 design will also be unveiled to the American market later this month at the 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
