Holland Yacht Experience (HYE), the joint venture of a number of leading Dutch yacht companies based in Port Canto on the Côte d'Azur has announced the latest addition to the group, Hogenelst SuperYacht Interiors, which has worked on the interiors of more than 40 superyachts.
With roots going back to 1916 when the company constructed handmade cabinets, Hogenelst SuperYacht Interiors now specialises in the engineering, production and installation of yacht interiors for custom-made new builds and refit projects. The company works alongside leading naval architects, interior designers and major yacht builders, operating from two locations in the centre and the north of the Netherlands. With around 75 expert craftsmen, Holland Yacht Experience hopes this new office in Port Canto will be their Côte d’Azur home base.
"For Hogenelst the HYE provides an excellent vehicle to maintain close contact with our Mediterranean customer base, owners and captains alike," says Hogenelst spokesperson Jacob Rienstra.
The existing partners of HYE include Balk Shipyard, Wajer & Wajer, Mulder Shipyard, Van der Vliet Quality Yachts and Arie de Boom. "We consider Hogenelst a perfect addition to the HYE portfolio, as this company enhances the diversity of our group and obviously aspires the same values of quality and continuity," concludes Alex de Boom, co-founder of HYE.
