UK, Bognor Regis. Heirlooms has announced it will launch a new fast track service and its latest collections at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). The news comes following significant growth of the bespoke linen manufacturer over the past 12 months, thanks in part to the complete refurbishment of its manufacturing facility in West Sussex this time last year. The investment saw an increase in machinists and the purchase of an additional linen embroidering machine to meet demand.
“Monaco 2012 resulted in a number of key orders and since last year we have seen a steady increase in enquiries and finished linen orders,” says general manager at Heirlooms, Ruth Douglas. “This has been due to a number of factors including our presence at The Coronation festival in the grounds of Buckingham Palace.”
The decision to launch a fast track service came as a result of continuous feedback from clients. This service will enable Heirlooms to deliver linens to existing clients in a much shorter time frame.
The English manufacturer’s extensive experience has cumulated from working on hundreds of yacht projects including Maltese Falcon, Hemisphere, Nirvana, Amnesia IV, Adastra and Excellence V. Residential projects include the exclusive One Hyde Park and The Lancaster’s.
“Our linens, with their durability and lasting beauty, are widely regarded as one of the most luxurious available,” adds Douglas. “In addition, we offer an extensive range of fabrics in both plain and jacquard including 1000 thread count cotton satin and 200 cotton percale, which is ideal for crew linens.”
Heirlooms, which will be present at Decorex International and can be found on stand QP56 in Parvis Piscine at MYS, are the only UK linen manufacturer to hold the Royal warrants to supply linens to the households of both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales as well as other international Royal families.
“The Monaco Yacht show is regarded as the most prestigious show in the yachting calendar and the only marine show that we currently present our luxury linens at,” concludes managing director at Heirlooms, George Reynolds. “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to present our new range and we look forward to welcoming owners and visitors to the stand.”
