As part of its consolidation plan, Ferretti Group has appointed Stefano de Vivo as its new chief commercial officer.

De Vivo steps in as part of the Group’s re-launching plan that focuses on the design and construction of a new range of products for the superyacht industry and as well as bringing these to market de Vivo will also help implement new businesses and marketing strategies, while developing the Group’s sales network for its brands.

De Vivo has a degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University College of London and has an MBA from the University of Science and Technology in Hong Kong. His career began in the nautical industry and has included working as sales and marketing director and vice president of sales at Benetti.

“I decided to go for a young manager in whom I strongly believe; a professional who trained at the Riva school and then built up great international experience in the nautical world,” said Alberto Galassi, chief executive officer of Ferretti Group. “Stefano will be able to give an important contribution to the growth of the Ferretti Group, concentrating on our main aim: building and selling the most beautiful boats in the world.”
