Dometic Marine's Dubai distribution agreements

Dometic Marine has signed distribution agreements with Marina Yachts LLC and Natheer Technical Services for the sale and service of its products in the GCC region.…

Dometic Marine has signed agreements with two distributors, Marina Yachts LLC and Natheer Technical Services for the sale of its Cruisair and Marine Air brands in the Middle East.

Marina Yachts was named as the exclusive dealership for Dometic brand Cruisair and has also been confirmed as the exclusive local commissioning agent to support the Gulf Craft shipyard business. Trevor Goldsmith of Marina Yachts LLC, said: “I think the benefits to our clients in the Middle East will be substantial because of our new agreement with Dometic. We have a rich depth of knowledge about Cruisair, as well as experienced refrigeration engineers on our staff. With temperatures in excess of 45 degrees in the summer, our partnership with Dometic Marine helps to ensure our products are available, reliable and fully supported.”

Meanwhile, Natheer Technical Services, which is Dometic’s exclusive SeaLand dealer for OEM customers, was confirmed as the exclusive Marine Air dealer for the UAE. Owner, Savio Martin said: “Our customers can now get all their air-conditioning requirements, spare parts and service, and everything related to Marine Air and SeaLand from Natheer Technical Services. Since we sell marine gensets, the Marine Air air-cons complement our business, as the customer can get both the ACs and the generators from one source. It is a challenging market here in Dubai, but with the support we now receive from Marine Air, we feel very optimistic.”

Both distributors will also sell the respective Dometic brand products to countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), although without exclusivity. They will also offer service and maintenance support to their clients in the region.

The agreement will allow Dometic to provide additional support to Marvair OEM customers in the region, a company that was acquired by Dometic in 2013. Julien Lefeuvre, Dometic’s head of marine OEM for EMEA said: “We are very pleased to announce the new set-up of our distributors in Dubai which will serve to meet an increased demand for air-conditioning equipment in the region. Together with the Marvair acquisition, it enables us to continue to grow our business and focus on supporting our customers in this challenging area.”
