In May of this year, SuperyachtDesign reported on the plans for the ninth London Design Festival (LDF) 2011, which encompasses a series of distinct group-shows spread across the city, including Decorex International. Event organisers have announced that this year, CEO and head designer of Target Living, Tara Bernerd will be speaking at the event on the topic of luxury and touching on superyacht interior design.

“Cherished Places is the inspiration for this year’s show and will be integrated throughout,” explains PR agent Jo Fiddy at Murray Weir Willats. “Celebrated international designer Nicky Haslam will be interpreting the theme to the entrance of the show in his own inimitable style. Decorex will also open its doors on Tuesday afternoon so that members of the public can attend and discover the latest trends and products.”

Now in its 34th year, Decorex is a prestigious design and interior event with roughly 280 stands, presenting new designs from the classic to the contemporary, industrial to craft from leading suppliers and interior designers. Exhibitors include THG Paris, Robert Stephenson, The Rug Company, David Harber, Elstead Lighting, De La Cuona, Veedon Fleece, Christopher Guy, Fabricant, Fromental, along with an array of UK designers and specialists. Visitors can expect a wide range of furniture, lighting, textiles, floor coverings, kitchens, innovative products, bespoke services and accessories.
