AV/IT distributor, bluePhare, based in The Netherlands, has announced the appointment of Nigel Sherlock as commercial director, starting September 1 2014.
Managing director, Paul Leeuwis, said "I am delighted that Nigel agreed to join our team and I am looking forward to working closely with him. Nigel will be responsible for ensuring that the company achieves its commercial objectives by developing our partner network and building our brand within the residential and yachting markets. Nigel brings with him over thirty years’ commercial experience, the last five of which have been spent in the superyacht industry where he has built up a remarkable network of contacts and strong relationships”.
Sherlock left his position at VBH to join bluePhare, which delivers products via a global network of electrical installation companies and AV/IT system integrators. Set up by experienced industry individuals, the company provides a wide range of technical services and support from concept and throughout the operational life of the systems, to owners' teams, shipyards, designers and technical consultants.
