Oortgiese renamed Heesen Yachts Interiors

Oortgiese, which has been the in-house interiors installation specialist for Heesen since 2000, has officially been renamed Heesen Yachts Interiors to bring the company into line with the wider Heesen brand.
The rechristening was to the satisfaction of Heesen Yachts Interiors’ director, Jan Rademaker:
“I am proud to be part of the successful Heesen group that represents Dutch quality throughout the seven seas.”
The company has been fitting out Heesen interiors for 25 years and has amassed a workforce of over 100 employees, trained through its own apprenticeship scheme. Following the acquisition in 2000 Heesen became one of only a handful of yards to boast its own interior fitter and furniture maker. And according to Heesen’s director of sales and marketing, Fabio Ernetto, this has proved an integral part of the yard’s ability to deliver to deadline:
“Heesen Yachts Interiors are part of Heesen’s success –as well as guaranteeing a very high quality standard, owning a furniture maker means Heesen Yachts can control the production process, which in turn means our yachts will be delivered on time every time.”
