Crew Network and V.Hospitality announce partnership

The Crew Network, formerly a division of Fraser Yachts, has announced that it is partnering V.Hospitality in the provision of crew recruitment, training and consultancy. The Crew Network recently joined V.Hospitality as part of the V.Ships group and it is hoped by the umbrella organisation that combining both outfit’s services will bring with it improved efficiency and enhanced capabilities. Both entities will retain their own operations and target markets but will work together to offer both services to clients. It is hoped that this will greatly expand the pool of crewing talent that V.Hospitality and the Crew Network can reach.
As part of this expansion and development V.Hospitality and Crew Network have agreed to sponsor the International University of Monaco’s (IUM) Master of Luxury Hospitality and Events Management degree programme. A spokesperson for the brands said of the partnership:
“We are proud today to be associated to one of the best Master degrees related to hospitality and luxury in Europe. Our involvement in the new Master will include having V.Hospitality and Crew Network staff teach classes, make presentations, coach students and serve as mentors throughout the academic year, as well as participate in seminars, off-site conferences and job fairs organised by the IUM.”
Speaking exclusively to Superyachtnews.com crewing consultant at the Crew Network, Esther Delamare said that V.Ships could apply its commercial expertise to the superyacht market effectively because of the exponential increase in yacht size, and the new requirements that places on crewmembers. Both brands would remain distinct, she added, with the Crew Network’s focus remaining very much on large yachts. “V.Hospitality will focus more on the crew hospitality side of things,” she added, but “because of the fact that Fraser and V.Ships are already very close it was decided that the Crew Network would become part of V.Ships hospitality offering.” “This gives us access to a huge commercial database.”
