Mark Cornell leaves Edmiston

By

Mark Cornell has left his position as Chief Executive Officer of Edmiston & Company, the brokerage house has confirmed. Speaking exclusively to SuperyachtNews.com the company said, "Mark Cornell has decided to leave the business", although they would not expand on the reasoning behind the decision at the time of writing.

Cornell succeeded Nicholas Edmiston as the company’s CEO in May 2011. Prior to his appointment Cornell had spent a decade at the LVMH luxury group including tenures as CEO of Moet Hennessy USA and chief executive of Krug Champagne.

Superyacht News was present aboard R/V Pegaso in Monaco last evening as Nick Edmiston led the celebrations of his company's acquisition of the yacht's central agency for expeditions. The technologically-advanced research vessel brings a new level of engagement and adventure lifestyle to Edmiston's fleet. The party was well attended by brokers and the Pegaso build team and crew.

Updates on Edmiston's plans for the future will be reported here as they become available.
