It has been confirmed that construction has begun on a 141m sailing yacht, the largest of it’s kind ever built. The vessel, which was designed by Ken Freivokh and Dykstra, is being built by Dream Ship Victory at its specially constructed facility on the coast of the Aegean Sea.

A special 200m-long construction shed able to accommodate vessels up to 160m has been built under the supervision of Dream Ship Victory CEO, Valeriy Stepanenko. It is flanked by a further two sheds capable of housing yachts up to 80m.
Whilst the 141m project begins in earnest work at Dream Ship Victory continues on the 55m, Princess Maria and the 43m, Imagination. Work on the 63m, Mikhail S. Vorontsov is nearing completion at the Balk Shipyard in the Netherlands, as reported during Synfo.com’s tour of the facility in May.

Following the keel-laying ceremony, attended by the various teams involved with the project, the build process has begun.
