Revamped Marina Ibiza to host Club Yachting Life Rally

The newly renovated Marina Ibiza have announced that it will be the meeting point for the Club Yachting Life Rally (CYLR), the annual event organised by brokerage company Dahm International. The event brings together a large number of superyachts, and the choice of Marina Ibiza as a host marina was largely due to its revamp. It can now accommodate yachts of up to 55m and provides all the necessary services such as shore power, water, sewage pump out and fuel as well as a comprehensive list of ‘extras’ from the concierge service, from laundry and bookings all the way to ballroom dance lessons.
The renovations will be completed in May following a two-year build process, the aim of which was to turn Marina Ibiza into one of the leading facilities in the Mediterranean. The management feel that the 24th Club Yachting Life Rally is a good way to showcase its completed marina. The CYLR will take place from the 2nd to 5th of June and has a programme of sailing and social events on Ibiza and Formentera.
Beyond it’s new facilities, Marina Ibiza has the advantage of its view, the UNESCO world heritage site D’Alt Vila and Ibiza’s reputation as one of the main party destinations in the Med.
Marina Ibiza claim that 80 per cent of clients that visited last year are planning to visit again, which bodes well for the summer season; their ethos of “Moor and Enjoy” might just be too tempting for the superyacht fleet to resist.
